  • I almost said armpits but that is easy compaire to ankles. I find lower legs to be the biggest pain in the a$$ of anything.
  • i was torn between bikini and arm pits. i hate the little bumps and ingrown hairs i get there. Plus, that is what people see. Only one person sees the downstairs. I went with bikini though because i figure i could start waxing the armpit.
Does anyone get their armpits waxed?

  • Jess what deodorant do you use?  Since I've started using Dove I don't get razor burn in my armpits anymore.

I did once, pre wedding/HM. I sucked but the area is so small that it was over real quick.

good point. i have a sweating problem though so i can only use certain deodorants and in the past i have found dove makes me extra sweaty. i have sensitive skin because i have the problem in a lot of places i shave.

I too get pretty sweaty, especially in the summer.  The plant I work at is very humid and just gross.  I had the best results using Dove Clinical Strength and Secret Clinical.  However, Secret stained my clothes so I stopped using it.  Secret does come in a travel size though, where Dove does not so I will use Secret on occasion.  Also the clinical strength stuff works best when applied the night before.

  • Bikini for SURE! And by bikini, I mean from just about my belly button to a good five inches down my thighs. Sorry for the extra personal info, but I'm Italian and "bikini line" doesn't quite cover it. But I don't need to be a bald 8 year old, I just need it under control when I wear a bikini (haha, good joke) or tankini.

This, but I went with armpits.

Yes, I used to get mine waxed.  The first time it hurt SOOO bad, but I continued to go back, and it did get better over time.  I wish I never gave it up, but I ended up moving (from Chi back to MI) and never found anyone to do it here.  However, I would totally recommend it!  I loved the smooth feeling, and it lasted for a very long time.

I've been using the Secret Clinical Strength for a couple years now but have never had issues with staining. That_shit is expensive though (the only downside, really).

  • I did laser hair removal two years ago, for my underarms and bikini line. It definitely hurts but it's so worth it, in my opinion. I never have to shave my bikini line and I used to get ingrown's all.the.time, so it was a great investment. :)

Exactly this! I am a hairy Italian woman and I hated having a 5 o'clock shadow under my arms. There are still a few hairs that grow under my arms but they are very sparse and it worked even better on my bikini line. Best investment so far. I would love to get my legs done eventually as well.

I had tried getting my underarms waxed before and I didn't like the results. I think it may have been b/c I didn't let the hair grow long enough though. I hated having to let it grow.

I have a series of questions for you. How much did it cost?  How many sessions? Where did you get it done.
