How was everyone's weekend?
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Ours was pretty good. I think we spent too much money but we had to buy things we needed, but no more spending for a while.
We didn't make it to church on Sunday because my head hurt so bad and I was bummed, but I don't think my head would have appreciated it if I went were it would have been loud. We spent a good day laying around though and had a nice time though, even though I felt like crap.
Hopefully this week will go by fast!

Re: How was everyone's weekend?
We had a great weekend!
Kelvin was off Friday-Sunday which was very nice since he's been working 6 days a week for months now. We shopped for easter on Friday and had lunch at olive garden.
Then, saturday we cleaned up the house before FIL came to visit. K smoked Ribs for dinner and I made a huge spinach salad. FIL's visit was actually nice and drama free...he's so much better since he's not w/ MIL anymore.
Sunday was a great Easter. We hung out outside all day and palyed. Kelvin smoked Tuna and I made fish tacos for lunch. BIL came over for a bit which was weird becuase everyone knows he doesn't like me or FIL these days, but he only stayed an hour or so.
The kids had a great time swimming in the little pool the Easter bunny brought and ate way too much candy!
I'm ready for the week and the exciting weekened ahead. It's the local Fireman's fair which is a huge deal in town. I love this time of year..it's also 8 days until our anniversary!!!
ours was great!
Friday night we had a social with our small group and watched Passion of the Christ and ate desserts. We got up early Saturday and went to the zoo with our niece, nephew, ILs, and SIL and had a picnic lunch. That was our first time to the zoo here. We had a great time!
Sunday we went to church and then over to the ILs for a late lunch. The ILs got me and my SIL our own bday cakes (there were only 14 of us there, so we had WAY too much cake!)
dh and I didn't even eat supper last night. wayy too much food this weekend!
My weekend was great too!
Thursday night...I went out with my 2 good work friends for dinner and drinks. We went to a new bar that my neighbor's brother just opened. The food was amazing!
Friday...Me, Chase, my sister, and my mom went to Purina Farms. The rain stopped and dried up right after we got there. Chase got to pet all the animals and watch the dog show. Friday night John and I went to a fish fry, but it wasn't that good. We were going to go do something else, but the tornado sirens were going off as we left dinner, so we just went back to my parents' house to wait out the storm.
Saturday night we had Easter dinner and Glee karoke at my parents' house
Sunday...Chase and I went to Easter dinner at my college roommate's house. Her family and ILs are so nice. I've been friends with her since 1999 and introduced her and her DH 2003, so I feel like I am part of their families. Then, around bedtime my college bff and her DH and DS came over to spend the night b/c they had an early flight out this morning and live too far away to drive up to the airport this morning.
It was wonderful. Friday DH and I went out to dinner with one of our good friends.
Saturday we had an egg hunt at the church and my sister and BIL brought my niece and she was adorable. I was able to visit with a dear friend while I was there and had coffee with her. I spent the rest of the day with my family. It was perfect weather!
Sunday- we tried a new church because unfortunately we've decided we're heading in a different direction from the church we've been going to for years
but the new church was wonderful. I am looking forward to going back. We spent the afternoon with DH's family. We came back for a quiet evening at home.
It's the holiday weekends it makes me so happy to be married to DH. When we were dating/engaged it was such a whirlwind and even though we were together we didn't spend much time with each other over these holiday weekends. It's amazing to be able to come home and just relax on the sofa with each other ya know?

I had a great weekend, I spent it with my family. I got to spend a lot of time with my Grandma
I ate WAY to much food though!
It has been raining here every day...and no end in sight. Im sick of the rain!!!!!
I took my grandma to Kmart today, and a produce market. We had so much fun
We had an awesome weekend! We flew to Denver on Thursday. On Friday, I had lunch with a couple friends (and their daughters), then DH and I visited the school where I used to work. Then we walked around a park where I used to hike all the time, and then we went to church (where we got married). After that, we went downtown and met up with a few of the girls from the GP board before meeting his mom for dinner.
On Saturday, we tried to go snowshoeing, but we ended up just going for a walk (not enough snow to need the snowshoes). Then we watched a rugby game before going to the Cathedral for the Easter Vigil Mass, which was beautiful.
On Sunday, I finished my homework assignment and hung out with MIL until it was time to go to a late lunch with DH's family, his bff, and his bff's wife. After that, we went to a couple bars with DH's bff and his wife before going to play the Wii at their house for awhile.
On Monday, DH and his bff went up to the mountains, and I spent the day in the city with my friend (DH's bff's wife). Then the four of us had dinner together and played ping pong. We just flew home this morning!
