Re: *Hannah*
Thanks for asking Xan!!
It was entertaining/fun. We got the scavenger/clue hunt first. There were 7 clues and then some wrapped present for each of them at the end. When I was first trying to explain how it works, that they'd get a clue, read it and figure out where in the condo the next clue was hidden, the RB, who is 5 interupted me saying "Um excuse me Hannah, but I don't know how to read yet". Haha, it was so stinkin cute! They had a blast with it, but I wish I would have made the clues harder b/c they flew through them.
The egg hunt was good, like last year, FG got waaay more eggs than RB and he got upset, but then when he realized he had found most of the chocolate eggs (some had jelly beans and others has Reeses cups and m&ms), he was pumped.
We dyed eggs. It was the kids and supposedly H's first time. The kids were amazed but H annoyed us all. I got a pack from Target that came with a white/clear crayon so you drew on the egg and then when you put it in the dye it repelled it and left that spot white. Well H kept drawing on the eggs without telling us, so half of the eggs we put in were a surprise on what they'd look like.
We had a Dairy Queen ice cream cake, which the kids one at a neighborhood party last time we babysat, which was delicious. We also ordered pizza from our fav. spot in their neighborhood. H & I lived in their condo the first summer we were in Chicago and ate that pizza often...I forgot how good it was!!
