Paint project fail

So we just bought a home, and being that we are young and first-time buyers we're not exactly pros when it comes to doing the things homeowners do to change the appearance of things. Well we bought some paint supplies including rollers and I guess I got the wrong kind of nap or just a really cheap brand because there is lint stuck in the paint. It now looks like I have pubic hair all over my wall. Yay.

Re: Paint project fail

  • This made me laugh a little. Sorry.

Is it going to be a quick fix at least?

  • I'm sorry but that made me crack up. Not what happened but your description of it. I hope there's an easy and cheap way to remove it.

  • aww I'm sorry!  but thanks for the laugh :)  I hope you figure out a way to fix it!
  • The thought of pubes on the wall seriously cracked me up, Cortney.  But - the beauty of paint projects is that if you don't like the color, or it doesn't turn out the way you wanted, it's an easy fix to repaint.

  • Oh, I know what that's like.  The more expensive rollers are always worth it because of the lint thing.

Get yourself some sandpaper and go to town, you'll be pubic hair free in no time. (ha)

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

  • Oh no. They also say that a brown paper bag will work to get that out, and it won't scuff the walls too much. Hopefully it's an easy one coat fix.
