I've been wanting a white purse for spring and summer. I found this white leather "vintage" (not sure how I feel about that -->) 80s purse. I'm super excited for her to arrive!

My mom's birthday is tomorrow, and my sister and I went in together and got her this Michael Kors bag I found at TJMaxx in Atlanta. I can't wait to give it to her tomorrow. ![]()

And I bought these vintage bud vases from etsy. I plan to put a single flower, maybe two, in each one and use them as a centerpiece for my dining room table. They need to hurry up and get here while my irises are still blooming.

What have you bought recently?
Re: Fun Recent Purchases
This top that I'm wearing today:
Nothing else really fun.
I might buy a plane ticket to NYC to hang with my friend for a few days. We'll see though.
Zuma Zoom
We bought ivory blackout curtains for our bedroom, and a matching brushed nickel rod, finial and hardware set. They're like this, but ivory. I wanted gray but they only have full length (95") not window length (64"), so I settled.
I already AWed this, but I got the MBMJ Hillier Hobo in smoke.
And this weekend I bought a gray sweater and a pink and purple plaid camp shirt at Banana that I can't find pictures of online.
Stand up for something you believe in.
This was my AW-tastic post from Friday night about all of my Kohls purchases:

My favorite designer is all over TJMaxx and Marshalls lately, so I have been to 10 different stores in CT, MA and NH (during road trips I was making anyway) hunting for stuff.
Last Wednesday I bought shorts in this print
yes, it's crazy, but they're adorable. Unfortunately they don't fit quite right (they'd look ok with the right top) but losing 5lbs would fix that. They were the only pair in TJMaxx so I got them anyway. They're normally $88 and I got them for $30. Clint gave me a total side eye when I showed them to him, so I didn't bother telling him they don't fit. My goal is to fit into them by the time we go to Disney... I have 2 weeks. sigh.
PJs (these bottoms and also the tank top), normally $79, I paid $20

Lilly Pulitzer perfume, in all 3 fragrances- it's discontinued but the $48 bottles are $13 at TJMaxx so I've just been buying all they have. Christmas gifts!

This cardigan, normally $110 (I think), I paid $30.

The silk/cotton blend version of this shawl (in a paler blue), normally $138, I paid $40

And a few weeks ago, this dress, normally $278, I paid $80
I also got some cotton pj pants on clearance for $15 in S (I'm M or L for pjs) to cut up for fabric- that's pretty crazy, but I don't care. Maybe I'll make a sleeveless top of some sort. Last year my mom bought 2 shirts in the same fabric as these pj pants to make one into larger shirt for herself so she has some extra fabric lying around.
I adore TJMaxx. I had money set aside from the sale of my condo so I could buy designer shoes, but I bought this stuff instead. Where am I really going to wear Louboutins, anyway?
Oh I almost forgot (since I left them at my parents' house): the Vera Bradley sunglasses for $25
I bought this for a friends daughter and she LOVES it.
That thing is super cute. And gender neutral. I kind of want one now!
I AWed this a little in MBs Kohls thread, but I just got this cute top for like $20 in plum:
and just bought this duvet:
It's the same set as our old comforter, so we were able to use all of our old shams, euro shams, and bedskirt. Win! Also got it for like 50% off.
I am pretty sure I have a gazillion of these in my house...if you need more, let me know...I'd love to get rid of them but have trouble with just throwing them out.
We got one for my nephew too!
Toys 'R' Us had BOGO on Little Tykes toys last weekend so we took advantage!
In addition to the granite purchase with I think is pretty damn fun:
I've done a bit of online shopping with some of the great deals lately! Haven't gotten anything in the mail yet, so I have no idea if these are keepers:
Gap shorts
Ruffle tank - old navy
design print skirt - go jane
canvas peep toe wedges also from go jane, to go with my super long new gap jeans
dresses from go jane (i can't resist $20 dresses gah!)

We got our bonus last week, and after paying off my credit cards, putting some in savings, and putting some toward my student loan, I decided to let myself buy a few things:
A few floral graphic tees, a cute little cream colored hoodie for $6 (!) and some earrings from Express.
Then another pair of earrings from Etsy, they are super tiny, for everyday wear:
Then I restocked on some of my favorite Penzey's spices (Cajun, Season Salt, Pasta Sprinkle and Vanilla Sugar).
Then this $15 bathing suit from Land's End Canvas.
Then I got my mom a home brew beer kit for Mother's Day, because my family is klassy like that. D is very jealous.
Since having the baby Ive need a few new things.
We had a wedding last weekend and I needed a dress and shoes. I got these shoes and dress from Kohls
and I bought myself this top, also from Kohls (a little hard to see)
Maybe you should start an etsy shop. I paid $28 for those, plus $10s&h.
