Or what have you read recently? Any winners that we should all read?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: What are you reading?
I'm reading Jane Eyre. I've never actually read it before.
I love it.
I've got Uncle Tom's Cabin on audio in the car and enjoying that too.
I'm reading the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo...probably the last person in the world to do so.
I've got the game of thrones ready to go also (the first in the series that the HBO series is based off of).
I love me some series, lol.
I'm reading Sarah's Key - it's ok. I'm finding the main character to be on the annoying side.
I just finished Little Bee, which was good.
I just started The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks. REALLY GOOD! It's a nonfiction SCIENCE book, and I am HOOKED.
Sorry. I think the FEVER is making me do ODD capitaliZATIONS.

Good to hear! Can't wait to start it.
I loved Sarah's Key. It's funny you find her annoying.
I've read a couple of good books recently.
My top choice to recommend is My Name is Memory by Ann Brashares.
I'm currently finishing Marian Keyes' new book "The Brightest Star In The Sky". Really good read.
To clarify, it's Julia that I find annoying, not Sarah. I just don't know how much more of the " my husband's an azz, but he's french, so it's ok" that I can take. Maybe once I'm finished with the book, I'll like her more.
Money Matters The other half's blog.
EJ is growing up too fast!
I've been DYING to read this one. I love a good, dense non-fiction book.
I'm currently reading Bel Canto (yeah, I'm always several years behind on whatever the "It" book of the moment is). I absolutely love it. I'm about halfway through and I don't ever want it to end. I don't know what it is about the book but it's just so beautiful to me.
me too. enjoying it so far!
i just finished 'the girl who played with fire' and it was... okay. i guess i'll read the third one, because i want to know what happens to lisbeth. love plucky heroine but the writing, not so much. my old boss said he felt like a chump reading the 2nd and 3rd books for this very reason. now i know what he means. i find i'm constantly revising it in my head to make it less passive and tell-y.
I'm reading Villette, which is another Charlotte Bronte book ! It's good but there is a lot of french in it that is not translated. I know a little French so it's sort of working out but if I didn't it would be a real PITA to try to translate it all online.
I just read Water for Elephants, which was great.
Bossypants by Tina Fey
I'm dying laughing...
