They seem to show up every couple of years with new material, though I confess that I have no idea what it is. I just know because they show up on the talking head shows on VH1 occasionally. And I know they're all married with kids, even though I'm pretty sure they're still like 12.
(I was waaaay out of the target demographic for them, though. I was an NKOTB-era tween/teen.)
This was me, too. I'm sure you know they are back on tour. But at the concert on Friday night, I saw an advertisement for NKOTBSB. I guess they're touring with the Backstreet Boys or something (another one I was never into...I was too old, I guess).

LOL, this was me! I am OBSESSED with their new song called "Give A Little"...it's upbeat and really catchy. I was never in love with any of them lol but I always liked them. You should def give it a listen Hannah.

1st day of middle school (7th grade), I walk into band marching camp (yep, I was i the band, clarinet) and noticed a blonde in a green Zack Hanson shirt. I immediately wanted to be friends with her. We clicked and were best friends for about 2.5 yrs...all started bc of Hanson, lol

Ahem, I *may* have tickets for the concert in June at Fenway. I don't really care about the Backstreet Boys, but whatever. My friend and I are going - it's my birthday weekend, so I figure it'll be a delightful way to forget how old I am, heh.
(And I've been calling it the NKOTBSBWTFBBQ tour.)
That's great! I considered going to the NKOTB tour when they were here last time, but never got the girls together to get tickets. And this year, Carter will only be about 10 days old when they come, so I'll be missing out again (along with the Sox who are coming when he's two or three weeks old...bummer!).

My college suitemate my senior year was OBSESSED with Hanson. I had previously been unaware that they were still performing, but she went to probably 3 of their concerts my last semester of school (which was about 3 years ago). I had older sisters who REFUSED to let me listen to the girl/boy bands of the late 90s.
I remember telling my middle sister (she's 9 yrs older) that I liked 98 degrees (I was in 5th grade and had read an article about them in a magazine but hadn't actually listened to their music) and she was like, "No you don't. Go listen to this" and handed me something like Beastie Boys or The Grateful Dead. In college I finally started listening to Spice Girls and such and like it fine, but I was never an obsessed fan for any of that type of music.
Your sister is awesome. My brother and I are 8 years apart, and I always forced my music on him. (Though part of that was because I drove him around, so he had no choice.)
s/o: I read in a People magazine that 3 of the 5 Spice Girls are preggers right now!! (Mel B, Posh, and Baby I think? Or maybe it's Ginger)

I had friends that were boy band fanatics, and I did like Hanson back in the day but I was not obsessed. I did have an obsession for Sugar Ray, Mark McGrath is a hottie! I also had an obsession with the hot guys on Abercrombie bags.

Ha, Ashlee, I so "collected" A&F bags, cut the sides and taped them to my walls! Funny you mention this b/c DH ordered some khakis online from them and they're too short. He's nervous to go to the store to return them bc he's hoping to exchange them but he doesn't want to carry around a AF bag. He told me he's going to bring a plastic Jewel grocery store bag with him instead. lol

I like it but Jason hates it, so I just watch when Kendra dances (I was a big GND fan; I even read her autobiography lol), so I missed Hanson. I saw on the TV info they were singing Mmmbop though which made me smile.
