Dress Me Please
B and I are going to a benefit at a local museum in a few weeks. The dress is "Island chic cocktail attire." Any ideas what this means and what I should wear? Bonus points for links. The majority of my cocktail attire consists of LBDs.

may I suggest, Rent the Runway.com.... I can send you an "invite" if it's needed to join (just send me your email).... rent a pretty/designer dress starting at $50. I'd just go for something colorful... nothing too "themed".

I would just go with something colorful. Something bright and fun. Maybe you will find some awesome jewelry on your upcoming trip.
Rent the runway is also really cool. I plan to use it for the next big event I have to go to. I have to admit there is a few Christian Sirano water pattern dresses that I've been wanting to wear that I would wear to an event like that.
