PAIF/SAIF/PGAL welcome
Lila is doing GREAT. She loves to sleep through the night (mom loves it too). I have tried to wake her up, but she is impossible to wake so I now wake 2 times a night to change her diaper... I can't stand the thought of making her sleep through the night in a dirty diaper. She is also so close to starting to smile, I am getting excited. Right now she is doing a little 1/2 smile and it melts my heart every time that I see it
Tomorrow I have an appt with the OB/GYN to have an IUD put in
No more babies for us for at least 5 years.
Married Bio
As you all know, Mason and Brooke are 1! We started the transition to whole milk on Friday and they are up to about 3/4 milk, 1/4 formula and are doing great with it! We are on our last can of formula, and let me tell you - I'm soooo excited about not having to buy formula EVER again! We go to the pedi tomorrow and I cant wait to see how much they weigh!
Zoe is doing great!
We went to Shriners last Tuesday and her hips are looking good! he doctor seemed optomistic and we are going back on the 19th. He said that hopefully by that time we can either go to 12 hours on/12 hours off or completely off. Yipeeeee!
She is sleeping longer stretches at night (6-8 hours, and we got one 10 hour night in there as well!) so I'm lovin it! It figures that she is sleeping longer now that I'm going back to work next week. John might get lucky and not have to get up with her before he has to wake up for work.
I have already cried about going back to work. This is going to be SO hard. I'm not just upset about leaving her. It's also what I'm going back to.
Now I'm really stuck though because I want to stay part time and a lot of positions at my hospital are not hiring for PT. Ugh. 2 nights will be better than 3 I think though so I'm going to tough it out for as long as I can!
I am plugging along at 27 weeks. My belly is definitely getting bigger and i felt like I was starting to waddle when I walked to the bathroom just a few minutes ago. I ate like a pig yesterday for Easter so its back on track with healthy eating. I didnt need 5 chocolate chip cookies but they tasted sooo good. hehe
I go May 6th for my glucose test. Hopefully I will pass and not have to do the second test.
We got all the furniture that was in the baby's room packed up in the IL's truck yesterday so they are going to store it at their house. I am super excited about that because now we can go shopping for baby furniture and paint the room. YAY!!!
Maisy is doing great. After concerns about her lack of weight gain, she finally, at a month, reached her birth weight and then some. I was going to the pedi like 2x a week for weight checks, so I am really happy to be done with that! I think she was just born a much biigger baby than she was intended to be due to being a week late.
Beckett is getting so much better with jealousy, but there are still lots of days he will just act out for attention, so we are working on good attention (doing a dance or song for Mommy or helping out) vs. bad attention (such as deciding to spit his milk out for no reason onto the couch or hitting me because I'm feeding Maisy). Learning how to juggle them both is getting much easier though.
That's awesome! You're so lucky! We have to wait until we're 22 weeks before they'll do it
June 28 can't come fast enough!!!
Laney: I vote Boy, but then again my own motherly intuition was off with mine until 2 nights before the BIG u/s.
