I <3 my DH

He's very assertive.  Sometimes this is great, sometimes he's just a jerk.  Wink  Today, it went both ways.   It started out jerky, since he's on school vacation this week, and my appointment was at 8am - he didn't want to go with me, but the closer I get to the end (and possible induction) the more questions come up and the more nervous I get.

Then, he VERY reluctantly, and very begrudgingly decided to get out of bed to join me at the appointment.  His assertiveness became a positive when he asked the MW to check with the doctors about pushing my induction back from a Thursday evening start to Sunday evening, they agreed!!!  He bought us a few more days to begin labor naturally, and a much easier day to go check in at the hospital (as opposed to after work on Thursday).  As long as everything looks good and the baby appears strong and healthy at  Thursday morning's extensive check-up, they'll allow me to hold off until Sunday to begin the slow induction process (which could take 3+ days).

I just might get my May baby after all!  Big Smile
