Your response to my post about arthroscopic hip surgery got me a little worried! My doctor hasn't given me any instructions yet other than to walk around and get off crutches, which I did after a day.
What did you do that caused the second tear and the scar tissue? What did your doctor tell you to do/not do? And did you get physical therapy?
I have a follow-up appt in a week so I'm hoping he'll give me more info then.
Re: *mac17*
I'm sorry about concerning you. I did do physical therapy.
I think my tears occurred due to hypermobility and way my body is built. After the first surgery, my surgeon couldn't explain why I wasn't getting any better so I moved on to another surgeon. I think the scar tissue occurred because I continued to have pain so I slowed down.
Keep moving, and do the exercises the therapist gives you. Wishing you the best.
