No. Right now, I'm expanding my freelance work (examiner.com and textbroker.com) and I'm going to take my test to become a certified pharm tech in June. Hopefully, in about 6 months or so, I can try again and have the experience that they are looking for in their company.
I also am going to concentrate on finishing my book, as well. Maybe completing that will make me feel more accomplished.
Sorry. It's a competitive job marlet out there, and publishing has always been competitive. But it sounds like you have a plan in the works, and that's good. Keep chugging away, something will hit. The beauty of writing is that you can still pursue while working at something else. It's ideal to have it as your career, and someday you will, but at least you can keep your chops working on the side.
