We have a visitor

Anyone see Paranormal Activity 2? Remember the scene where the dog is barking and barking at the bathroom in the baby's room?

That was us last night. The dog would not stop growling and barking at our hallway bathroom. We were all freaked out then we heard the hiss from the other side of the wall.

Wildlife Control is on its way over. Ugh.

This is the last time I live near a river. We have way too many wildlife issues in the houses over here.

Re: We have a visitor

  • Hiss???  Does that mean snake?  That is so scary!

    Possum!

If it was a snake, I'd not believe it couldn't get in the house. Through the toilet or something. I'd be in a hotel! LOL

I am deathly (DEATHLY) afraid of snakes though.

  • Oh my gosh!! That is crazy! Thank god our wildlife issues keep themselves in the back yard, no one needs that in their house!
  • It is up under the house and behind the walls. I am so over it. We have had wildlife issues since we moved in. There were a TON of them in the attic which took 4 months to trap and get rid of all of them. We are on very friendly, first name terms with the wildlife company.

I thought it was us or something then talking to neighbors, it's just part of living on the river around here.

    No, thank you.

I will take an over-developed, uber planned, tree-less, cookie cutter subdivision anyday.

  • Well thank goodness you have the dog to alert you!
  • Critters and I are not meant to co-habitate.  As I always say, unless they're paying rent, stay the heck out!
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Scary stuff! Our kitty, (who does not pay rent, must talk with her about that...) did a great job of catching a mouse the first week we got her. We have not seen any since than and it's been four years!

She is earning her keep then! She's probably keeping them away. Apparently they know the smell of a cat and will stay away!

Our possum is gone, thank goodness. It did not take much for the dude to trap it! Boy was it MAD!!!
