Mine is Totally BSC with the same moments, like this past Easter dinner. I vow to not be BSC to my future daughter in law!

I voted 'Totally BSC' x2. Both MIL and SMIL are total pieces of work, but we've been on MIL's good side for a while (the other shoe could drop at any moment though). BIL is on her bad side, so we've been reaping the benefits.

I want to vote twice because MIL and SMIL are on opposite ends of the spectrum. SMIL is BSC, but I don't hate her, she's just hard to tolerate for long periods of time. MIL is one of the sweetest people but she annoys me.

I am not sure I would call my MIL BSC but she is a drama queen to the extreme, I might have cut her some slack but she calls dh every single day now so I gave her top honors.

My MIL is mostly sane. She is great with me and we have a great relatioinship. Any BSC moments seem to deal with her own life and don't really affect me, so we're good.

I've lucky to have a sane MIL - no issues with her or any of my in laws at all.

I see my MIL approx. 5 times a year and we only live about 20 minutes from her. DH is not close to her (goes back to issues from childhood) and prefers it this way.

I voted that sometimes she surprises me with her craziness. But really, it's not craziness exactly. It's more like her helplessness, her inability to manage money, her inability to manage important adult relationships (with her kids, her siblings, her H), her inability to have a conversation with someone she's know less than two years, etc. I guess I'm more of a SS. She's not personally offensive to me most of the time. Just an odd duck. Very odd.
