Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

so, i know i've gotten a dozen of these from other people and it happened to me this morning. it's the issue with sending emails to everyone in your address book containing just a link (usually to some sort of pharmaceutical company). i changed my password, but i don't know what else i can do. anyone else go through this?

How difficult was your password? Was it just letters and numbers?
Adding symbols and avoiding simple passwords is the solution. It's not fun to memorize huge passwords, but they work, and changing them often is the other key. I just started doing this about 6 months ago when my gmail was hacked and no problems since. A hack like that is likely just an "auto-hack" where someone wrote a program to try to do it, not a person trying to get into your actual account.
