We're not moving!
H found out for sure today that his schedule is officially changed with the school. Previously he was going to be leaving me for three months to do a rotation three hours away towards the end of this year, but some things happened and he changed that rotation to here. He's also already scheduled some of his electives! So we'll be here past February at the very least but almost definitely longer and there's a tiny possibility to be here through residency, too, which to me is practically indefinitely.
And he's got a two week break last week in Sept/first week Oct and I want to take a trip. Naturally, I thought Disney but he says that's not going to happen, especially since his check coming first week Sept has to go through first week Feb which includes Christmas. Well you don't care about our budget, but I'm just happy we're not moving! Maybe now I can take a break from thinking about how awful it would be to move this cough down three twisty flights of stairs...

What about, oh, what is it called, Jekyll Island?
Jekyll is awesome, it's really slow-paced tho and I got bored after a day. You can literally walk the entire island in a few hours lol. It is only an hour - 1.5 hours from Savannah, so you can do multiple things in one trip. Also, Tybee island is about 25 minutes from Savannah, but it's more touristy and less historic than Jekyll.
I've never heard of Jekyll, I'll look into it. We were considering Savannah because we stayed there one night after leaving Miami and I would have loved to see something other than Paula Dean's restaurant (but it was worth it!).
Also maybe Nashville or Williamsburg/Jamestown. H also mentioned an island, I forget the name, but it's the one they used to go to on Jon & Kate Plus 8, I think in one of the Carolinas?
