I returned half of my BG's because the velcro strip on the front was peeling off. They sent me brand new ones back, with snaps. I was debating if I wanted to return the other half for snaps or keep some velcro for ease. While taking off the diaper the snap ripped through the material. I literally got it yesterday, haven't washed it, just wanted to quickly test it on DD. WTF?? Now, that one has to go back too.
Re: Snap BG's!
LOL My husband would do that!
We were talking about it last night, how they're a pain but will last longer. So, I decided to try it out with her today so I could show him it will work fine and this happens. It will just go back with the others. Such a pain. I just want to get back to our big batch of diapers and go back to peacefully CDing
Hmmm, this is the first time I've heard of the ittibitti. Explain minkee to me -- do you need a cover?
Nope, no cover! We got them in our swag bags from the Great Cloth Diaper Change. They are one size dipes with layers of soakers (instead of a pocket/insert) made of bamboo/cotton. The outer fabric of the cover is minkee which is amazingly soft. A little expensive....but certainly an upgrade to the BG's in my opinion. It's in the wash now, so a review can come later!
I found it for $26.95 on amazon, but that's still nuts! Sucks, too, because I'm running out of options that fit Owen, and he shows no signs of being ready to potty train.
