- I could give two $hits about the royal wedding. It's ridiculous how much news coverage it's getting. Everytime it comes on the news, I change the channel.
-IMO, I don't like escort/place cards with images of the entree meat printed on it. Yes, I like chicken, but that doesn't mean I want to be reminded of it while I'm eating.
-I have gained 10#s since the wedding and I think am in the range of the heaviest I've ever weighed, but I've been lazy w/working out and like my dessert too much to change anything right now
-I'm annoyed w/SIL. She's going to Europe in May and is now planning on getting an LV since I got mine. She shops like there's no tomrw and said 6 months ago that she didn't like LV at all. I saved up to buy mine, and I know the world doesn't revolve around me, but it's just annoying/a reminder that this girl gets/buys anything she wants in the blink of an eye.
-DH's bday is next wk and I still need to decide on one more gift for him but really would love to just give him cash. Lol.

Re: Confessions/Vents
If it makes you feel better, Chris' birthday is tomorrow and I have zero plans for it, including no idea what to get him for a gift. Awesome planning, huh?

Not true! You're giving him a baby! So, you know, you never have to get him anything again. Or something. (All I know is if we ever decide to have a kid, I am holding that over my husband's head forever, heh.)
Haha! This is true! And since Carter is likely to be born within days of my birthday, that will be my gift, too. I'm already prepared for my birthday to never matter again (which is ok, because of course Carter's will be more important!).

I feel the same way. I've actually had a few of my shows I watch regularly canceled in order to show some Royal special. Granted, I might watch some of the recap stuff to see her dress or the decorations, but it's been way too excessive.
LOL, you should totally just give him cash. Jason hates cards and always tells me instead of buying him a card, give him the $3...he's a pretty romantic guy in that way lol. Ps, I still get him cards

My brother is the same way. One year, I bought him a present, and put a regular letter envelope on the top with 2 bucks in it. He opened it and looked confused, so I said, "it's your card." And he started yelling, "See? Someone finally got it!" It was pretty hysterical.
My vent is that I slept maybe 2 hours last night, and I am ready to kick someone. This morning has just been terrible, and I really want to go home and ignore the world right now.
Confession: I've avoided buying a new scale because that means I have to re-start my diet lol.
Confession: After years and years of saying I didn't want to have kids, recently I've started thinking I'd like to try for a baby by the time I'm 30...so I've got a little over 3 years to really decide.
Vent: We pay almost $800/mo for our rent, yet our complex refuses to turn the boilers off so we can use our AC. It was over 80 in our apartment all day/night yesterday and will be the same for the next two days. Jason called the leasing office yesterday to ask when the boilers would be turned off and they said, "well it's supposed to be in the high 60's later in the week, so we want to leave them on for a bit longer" Umm, who the heck uses their heat when it's in the high 60's? The last few days have been 85, time to turn the AC on a$$holes, I'm sick of sweating to death.
Really? I would be livid. Of course, I live somewhere that a/c is an absolute necessity (and just can't understand how someone could live without it), but still. 80 is way too hot for the indoors! And, yeah, heat shouldn't be used when it's high 60's...that's when windows should be open!
My parents keep their a/c set at 80 and turn it down to 78 "for me" when I go to their house...it's miserable.

Oh...another one...
I cannot stop eating the candy in the Easter basket my mom gave to us. I want to stop, but every time I walk by, I grab something. And now I'm sick to my stomach, but I still want more. What's wrong with me???
Megan & Chris
Yeah, it's horrible. Trust me, I've screamed at them more than once about AC issues, especially last year when ours was broke for over a week when it was over 100 degrees outside...our apt was in the 90s every day, it was crazy. I believe in 'kill em with kindness' but these biatches need to be yelled at. I cannot wait until our lease is up this winter and we can move somewhere where we can control when we want it hot or cold.
Jason's grandmom is the same way as your parents. It was 80 degrees in her house on Easter and she finally broke down and let us turn the AC on but only to 77...by the time we left it was 83 in her house with all the other there and she was still 'cold'. When our AC is on/working, we keep it around 65 lol.
I love that story Erica! I may need to do for Ben!

I thought of one...
Confession: DH pissed me off yesterday evening and this morning with being snotty about new house stuff, so I'm eating all the Godiva truffles my mother put in his Easter basket.
Confession: I told DH about a baby consignment sale I want to go to to stock up on cheap maternity clothes, well he seems to have forgotten it is a baby consignment and thinks I need the pants for work now, and I'm just letting him keep that idea...
