Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

stress eating

I just had a stressful event at work and what did I do?  Ran to the vending machine for a TWIX bar.  After I ate it, I realized what I just did.  This is why I can't lose weight.

  • I hear you girl.  This weekend, DH and I made a late night run to Wal-Mart for alcohol and munchies.  We finished a bag of Doritos and I've been eating 2 pr 3 of those LoftHouse cookies per day. 

    I guess that's not really stress eating, it's 'Cookies So Good, Can't Stop' eating.

  • UGH! I hear AND feel you! I've had an overly stressful class of students this year. And here recently I feel like I all I do is eat...and then eat some more...and just when I think I'm done I squeeze in a bit more! Of course, I've gained weight...I hate it! :-/

  • I had a very bad 11-and-a-half hour day yesterday (I'm usually the standard 8-hour day worker) I asked DH to order pizza cause I was stressed and didn't want to cook. I ate half a large pizza AND about a pound of easter candy.

  • I have a serious sweet tooth, and everytime I get stressed, I buy Almond Joy at the vending machine.  I think stress lowers sugar levels in our blood and that's why we eat. 

  • I definitely stress eat.  And happy eat.  And sad eat.  And bored eat.  Ugh - I really need to get this under control!  Hopefully spring will get us all motivated!
