She blews her Mom's head off because of an arguement about her boyfriend? 
The 15-year-old Braselton girl accused of killing her mother sat motionless for the entirety of an hourlong hearing Friday afternoon, as authorities recounted the events surrounding the alleged murder.
Police discovered the body of Athens-based Army recruiter 1st Sgt. Karen Moore in her Sahale Falls Drive home on the afternoon of April 7, shot in the back of the head with a 9mm handgun.
It was later determined that Moore died the previous night.
Judge George Hutchinson bound murder charges against her daughter over to Gwinnett County Superior Court after hearing testimony from Braselton Assistant Police Chief Lou Solis on Friday, as the defendant?s father ? and Moore?s widower ? sat through it all, bedecked in full military uniform with hands tightly clinched in front of him.
According to Solis? testimony, Moore?s daughter (who the Daily Post is not naming because the District Attorney?s office has not yet decided whether to charge her as a juvenile or adult) confessed to the shooting, but told authorities several different versions of what happened the night before they were called to the scene.
The first story Solis and Georgia Bureau of Investigation Special Agent Sarah Thomas allegedly heard was that Moore had been teaching her daughter how to shoot the handgun while sitting on the couch in front of her.
The safety erroneously believed to be on, a shot was fired and Moore was struck in the back of the head, her daughter said.
The 15-year-old?s story then changed, as she told Solis that she and her mother had been having ?ongoing? arguments about school and her boyfriend, 17-year-old Christopher Nieves. According to that version, ?she snapped,? shot her mother in the back of the head and ran out the door to pick up Nieves.
In her third version, the defendant purportedly said there was ?no motivation? behind killing her mother, other than doing so when she did because she had to pick up Nieves at 10:30 p.m. ?or he would break up with her.?
Initial observations led police to believe the death may have been a suicide, Solis said, before the coroner arrived and determined the gunshot wound in the back of Moore?s head was an entry wound, not an exit wound.
The part of the story that was the same each time, and corroborated by Nieves, was what officials were told happened in the 15 or so hours between Moore?s death and their arrival on scene.
According to testimony, the suspect picked up Nieves at his home before ?getting lost? on the way back and arriving back at the Sahale Falls Drive home at about 2 a.m.
After that, the young couple reported having watched TV and had sex before going to sleep. Waking up at about 10 a.m. the next morning, the duo reportedly tried to jump start Moore?s Volkswagen before giving up and walking to a nearby pizza place.
Moore?s daughter did not eat ?because she felt sick,? Solis said.
After trying to jump the car again, the defendant and Nieves called a neighbor to help. When the neighbor gave up, Moore?s daughter reportedly brought her back to the scene asking for help because ?her mother would not wake up and there was blood on the floor,? Solis said.
Braselton police arrived on the scene at about 1:15 p.m.
The alleged murder weapon was soon found in the side panel of the Volkswagen?s driver?s side door. A matching shell was discovered near Moore?s body, police said.
Nieves has been arrested and charged with having sex with a minor.
The case was originally thought to be under the jurisdiction of the Piedmont Judicial Circuit, which covers Barrow, Jackson and Banks counties. Later investigation found the home near the intersection of Ga. Highway 211 and Thompson Mill Road fell just inside Gwinnett County line.
The GBI is working the case in cooperation with Braselton police.

I'm pretty sure that part of the story was a lie. I don't think the mom ever taught her daughter how to use a gun in the living room.

What I want to know is how the boyfriend came into the house and spent the night without seeing the dead mom on the couch in the living room?!?!? Or did he know?
He totally knew. I really hope they try her as an adult. . . she made some very adult decisions that night. . . kill mom, pick up boyfriend, have sex with boyfriend, try to jump start her car to leave, etc.
It's just all kinds of messed up. What's with the "getting lost" part? Did she tell him and they freaked out? Stopped somewhere to get it on?
I wouldn't say she's mentally ill, more along the lines of an incredibly stupid teenager who has seen a few too many violent movies.

she could be a sociopath. which is a mental disorder. i'm not saying she shouldn't be punished...but saying she's a "stupid kid" would be one thing if she tried to rob a liquor store or something...not blowing out her mom's brains and then getting her freak on.

My take on this is everyone who kills someone else is insane/mentally unstable. . . it's just not normal human nature to go around killing other people. I think there are some people who have more severe disorders that would be better off in a psych ward than a jail, but in general, if you kill someone you are somewhat crazy.
You're right. I stand corrected. I was thinking more along the lines of using the insanity plea as a defense for a lesser sentence.
This. Seriously, watched too many violent movies?? This would only be applicable if you had an 8 year old watch The Wrestler, and decide to jump on his brother's chest cuz he saw it in the movie, and accidentally killed him. That's an example of how a violent movie could "make" a kid do something harmful to another person. You don't watch a violent movie and think "Hey! I'll blow my Mom's brains out! That seems like a totally cool and worthwhile endeavour". WTH?
I go with Sociopath. But even sociopaths know right from wrong, generally. She needs to be tried as an adult and never ever get out (and possibly get a dead drip (omg, yes, I said that!))
there is something VERY wrong with that girl. She got angry her mother told her she cannot see her BF and the BF told her to "pick him up by 10:30 or they were over". So her way to resolve that issue was to kill her mother?

That's kind of iffy. Sociopaths have no ability to feel empathy for others, so it's hard for them to imagine that what they're doing it harmful to another person.

We were all stupid kids once, if you came very close to blowing your Mom's brains out FOR ANY REASON( other then abuse) please let me know because I do not believe this is common behavior however I am not a mental health professional so I am open to suggestions. Shall I take if you forgot this girl:
(1) Blew her Mom's brains out at point blank range
(2) Skipped merrily into the evening(dead Mom on couch)to pick up her boyfriend
(3) Brought her boyfriend back to her house, walked by dead Mom and couch with blood/skull pieces/brains all over the place, and went upstairs and had sex.
(4) ONLY told someone when she realized the car wouldn't start.
Can someone point out to me which one of these actions is that of a "sane" child who just happens to be stupid and not think of the consequences?
Word. Remember the law and Order episode with the Sociopath kid killed by the doctor? YUP, this girl doesn't need to see the light of day again.

See, I can't watch all those L&O shows, they're a bit much. Bones and NCIS is about as far as I get into the crime drama genre.
TTT- on PCE is married to a retired NYPD officer. The show drives him crazy. His comments are pretty hilarious for example " Elite squad my a$$!!" LOLZ!!

Absolutely, but the reason she shouldn't be allowed to get away with it isn't because she's crazy, but because she's crazy (if that makes sense). She will do it again because her mind is not right.
