Am i the only one who has ZERO baby fever?
No offense, having babies is super cool and they are adorable and everything, but i'm nowhere near ready in my mind to even THINK about having a baby right now. It's not like im super young (im 25) or anything, I am just completely NOT ready for that step of my life. I dont even think it Zig and I were millionairres and had done everything we wanted to do as married people we would even be ready for babies...(or think we were ready since ive been told you are never REALLY ready)

Re: Is it just me?
I don't have it as bad as I used to have it. I feel like right after the wedding/HM I was dying for a baby. For a little while I actually thought I got pregnant on the HM but I got my period in the end.
I feel like as the months have gone by, and especially as we've become closer and closer to buying a house, planning vacations to come for 2011/2012, etc. I have been feeling better about waiting. I know you're never financially ready for a baby (and not even mentally/physically/emotionally). But with that being said we are about to practically clear out our savings and have to start from scratch somewhat with the house downpayment... so I'm thinking baby should wait
Andplusalso, we're going to Vegas in summer 2012 for a wedding and then skiing in Aspen with my parents Christmas 2012, and I wouldn't want to/probably couldn't do either of those things pregnant. So we either have to hurry up and have the baby before that (not likely with the money situation) or wait to start trying around Christmas 2012. I think it will be the latter and I'm 100% okay with that.
Yup, no baby fever here. I'm hoping to wait another 2, if we could 3 years, but I'm not sure if I can hold DH off that long, he has major baby fever!

We are going to TTC next summer after I get some grad classes started, and possibly purchase a home. I am excited for it to happen in the summer of 2012.
I was not having any baby fever until a few months ago when my TOM skipped and then was really late the next month- because of a antibiotic I had taken. When the possibility that I was arose I got a little excited about it.. and have had a little baby fever ever since, but I know that waiting one more year will allow us to be much more prepared and secure in our careers and finances!

This sums me up well! I definitely am impressed by those who work and have kids and sometimes wonder how I would handle it. But I want them too! I think it would be worth it!
