Recommend some music, please
I'll be in the car for 12+ hours this weekend, plus shorter 1-2 hour trips over the weekend.
I need music (recommend anything) or audio book suggestions.

I don't know if this is dumb but have you heard the Lonely Island album from 2009, Incredibad? It always puts me in a good mood and makes me laugh during car rides. They have a new album coming out in the next few weeks and I'm excited.
I DL'd Sara Bareilles's album earlier this year and really enjoyed it too.
Lonely Island is the best thing everrrr.
Have you tried the audiobook thing? I actually am really enjoying audibooks right now. It's not the same as a good read, but it's a close second when you don't have much time to sit with a book. A good story and a good narrator are key.

Personally, I loved the Outlander series on audio. I know you don't do series, but maybe you'd like the first one all by itself. The Harry Potter series is also supposed to be really good on audio. The Help and Pillars of the Earth were also good on audio.
I'm currently "rereading" It on audio. I read it in high school and loved it so much I could hardly put it down, and it's even better on audio. Scary as hell though. Audio is great for rereading, I'm finding. It's kind of like watching the movie, except they don't fvck it all up.
My silly Lily is almost 4.
