BR- we have an induction date
So after false labor all weekend I thought I would have made more progress than I did- nope just 2-3 cm. Nothing to get too excited about. I thought we were in for the long haul when the doc told me that due to gestational diabetes, it wasnt safe for me to go past my due date. He said he would be right back- came back and said "well, we cant get you in tonight, however, we can do it either Thursday night or Sunday night" - shocked me simply stared at him like wtf are you talking about. I thought he was talking about a c-section. I was seriously freaking out. After I calmed down, he told me that he would be inducing me at the latest on Sunday night.
Mild freak out later and a call to Mark (figures he would miss this appointment) I have come to terms with it. We are going in Sunday night if we dont go into labor before that. They stripped my membranes and we will see if I go naturally - but if not, Baby Lee will be here hopefully on Monday.
I will keep everyone posted! I need all the vibes I can get!

Good luck Kel! I hope the induction goes smoothly, if you don't go into labor before then, I know being induced isn't always the easiest. I have a feeling you'll take it like a champ though.
Looking forward to hearing the birth story and to find out if Baby Lee's a boy or girl. Are you going to have Mark announce the sex? I can't wait for that moment when Craig says, "It's a ____!"

I hope you're able to go into labor on your and Baby Lee's terms... but either way, by Monday you'll have an outside baby! So excited for you!!
