Today marks the 2 year anniversary of my bf from childhoods passing.
I'd like to share a couple little stories.
We were 3 years old, our first play date together at my house. My mother let us play upstairs alone. We decided to play dress up and search my sisters room for play barbie makeup. We found it and put it on eachother. There was powder and lipstick everywhere- including on Emma's beautiful white lace dress. We went to show my mother, who proceeding to FREAK out, and try to wash Emma's dress before her mother came to pick her up. Well, her mother laughed (my mother horrified) and thus became a long 27 year friendship that was cut too short...
Another story was when we were about 7 years old and I had a hell of a time learning how to count change. I had a play cash register. She spent what seemed hours with me teaching (and playing with) me the difference between nickels, dimes, pennies.
And then there are some post high school stories I can't really get into ;-)
And the way she danced...she was SO funny when she was dancing in a club and wanted to get attention. She'd always dance with her hands above her head (like LOOK AT ME EVERYONE!!...and this was while sober.
And here are some photos I love of us (typically it was Emma, Emma, and me
This is from our other bf's (also names Emma) wedding (example A of dancing with hands over head)

My best friend died a week after we turned 17 (she was two days older than me) so I can imagine how you feel.
She sounds like a wonderful friend. Always keep those memories close to your heart.
