melted plastic on a glass stove top...
I may have put a plastic bag on the stove top this morning...and it may have been right on a burner that I just turned off... so now I have melted plastic on my glass stove top. Any suggestions for cleaning it? I tried to scrape it off with a plastic spatula & wipe it off with a rag, but had no luck. And this is why DH should make his own lunch early in the mornings...
Re: melted plastic on a glass stove top...
I did this, but I scraped most of it off while it was still hot. I used a metal spatula.
The remaining residue I got off with a magic eraser after the cooktop was cool.
Now you can't tell where it happened. Although our tub of margarine still has no lid.
