S/O dh-ism - blonde babies
So dh and I have been going back and forth about what coloring we think the baby will have. I am super fair and while dh isn't super dark he still has dark hair and eyes. Suddenly dh blurts out one day that a lot of little blonde kids always look kind of dirty to him. 
I was super blonde as a kid. 
So I tell him he is a hater.
I asked him to eloborate and he said when he sees really blonde (think tow head blonde) kids they always look really sticky and dirty. I asked him to elaborate further and he really couldn't, I told him most kids are sticky and he is nuts. (This is all completely in jest btw I hope no one gets offended).
So to be a smart a$$ I start going through my baby/toddler/kid pictures since my hair was practically white to prove him wrong. I'll be dammned if in 75% of the candid pictures I don't have dirty cheeks and knees. LOL

I was always the dirtiest child, out of all my playmates. I still somehow get dirtier than everyone else too...
And completely different conversation.... Is it really tow head? I always thought toe head lol. Neither really makes sense to me, but now I feel dumb.

Yes Mar, I think it is "tow" because I recently saw someone else write it and it was "tow" and I'm sure someone will come up with a wiki link but two people is my back up for now.
When I think of toe head it makes me think of Full House because there was episode where Joey said he thought all the people though his head looked like a big toe. Hahahah On that note I guess I am not sure.
*Summer* I totally did not show him the pictures. In addition to that I found my kindergarten graduation class picture and I am not dirty in it but my cheeks are so blotchy (like in a few others) I didn't show him that either because I look like I have sticky stuff on my cheeks but I know I totally do not. Poor fair kids getting a bad rap.
That's funny! I bet if you looked at his old pictures, he'd be dirty too though.

That's so funny that he has that weird image in his head that all blonde kids are dirty. Maybe they show dirt more like light colored clothing? I was a blonde haired/fair skinned child and definitely wasn't dirty looking. I knew a lot of darker haired kids in school that always looked dirty to me.
I also thought it was toe head. But I like everyone else learned this from watching Full House. So I have no idea what is realiable.

I swear I wasn't some scuzzy kid or anything especially once I was living with my grandparents. I think the majority of the pics I found were between when my mom and dad died and my dad was not quite as insane about not taking pictures where his kid looked homeless like a mother would have been LOL
