You do not need to be the biggest pain in my arse today because of our mothers day card situation. Ye they are almost all still in their packaging, yes I know it is hard to shop them but can't you see my employee and I are both frantically unwrapping them along with helping customers. It was not ou idea to have Easter and mothers day be 2 weeks apart, it was not our idea to cu sown the card rack space in our store. So please understand that we had to wait for Easter to be over so we could inventory everything and then box it up before we can move on to the next holiday. We do not have a fairy godmother that comes in and does it over night. Thank you! Your "tryin to be" friendly hallmark girls
Re: Dear customers
Ugh, annoying people. Who's buying their mother's day card already?? I guess I'm the only one who waits till the last minute with these things :P
I'll also sympathize with the retail blues... In high school, I worked at Starbucks and nothing was worse than those caffeine-addicted customers who could not manage to behave like humans before they had their coffee.

To my defense...I'm seeing my Mom this weekend, but not the following, so she's getting her card and presents early.
Haha, don't feel bad! This is more an incredulous statement at how much more organized other people are than me. I wish I got my act together sooner. I'm the one heading to the store a few days before Mother's Day and kicking myself for not going earlier because the place has already been ransacked...
Yup, Mother's Day is exactly two weeks from Easter. I did buy my sister her first mother's day card at Target.
As for a gift I plan to do this for my mom:

I'm buying my cards tomorrow.
I used to work retail, oh what fun that was. Black Friday was so much fun!
May 8th! Exactly 2 weeks after Easter. Its always the 2nd Sunday in May so its not that its early. Easter was EXTREMELY late this year, so that has everyone thrown off.

It's only a Mother's Day card, people! Really, is it worth getting that worked up for?
I'm vowing to get mine early this year, because last year it was made clear that I -- we -- (that's bs - ME) did not do Mother's Day correctly for my MIL. Eyeroll.
Ummmm I guess it could be as far in to May as the 14th, but it is always the 2nd Sunday
No joke!? People really do get all bent out of shape....
This is how Chris and I do Mothers Day..... I pick out and sign my mom's card, and only me. And then he picks out MIL's card and only he signs it. I can never sign a card that says stuff I don't mean.
If I find something to gift my mom then I get it for her. MIL doesn't usually get a gift, I don't put the effort in and Chris certainly doesn't because.... yea well he is a guy!

Bwahahahaha! Love it! I wish my MIL were as easy as my mom.
Last year was the 9th
