I hate hate hate the idea of having to do a 24 hour urine test. OB is making me do one to check the base level of proteins to watch for blood pressure issues...I mean I understand the need for the test and everything, but it is going to be a pain in the butt. Just needed to vent a little bit...thanks!

There's nothing like keeping a jug of your own pee in the fridge. I had to do it once with each pregnancy, not fun.

I saw hound's post.. do you get to do it while at home? I was admitted and they did a 24hr and then let me go because it was only at 275. I had to go back 2 days later due to bp and protein was 1575 so they kept me and we had A. I wish I could have done it at home the first time though. I didn't even know they would let you do that.

yeah I get to do it at home...I did it at home the last time too....it was easy to do last pregnancy...now with a toddler interested in the potty its going to be harder I think....I cant get a moment in the bathroom to myself and he wants to try and flush all the time...I just hope its not too much of a pain.

How could I forget about this?? I had to do it as well. I think I actually had to do it more than once. I had high protein in my pee while pregnant and they were worried about preclampsia
