Phew just gave my notice at work...(vent-ish)
...and it wasn't easy! I have the best boss and I almost cried when I was telling her and she almost did too. 
But it's a relief that it's over and I start my new job in two weeks. Anyway, just had to get that out...I have never been good at this sort of thing, I was even pacing around my office before I went to tell her haha

I just found out last night! I am actually working for your employer(aka the state!) I feel like people may be back and forth if it's a good idea to work for the state, but I have wanted to get in there for a long time and think it's a good move for me career-wise!

Technically I think they still do-the website says the freeze is on, but there are actually quite a few job postings on the site right now!
