Anybody Give/Get an Edible Arrangement?

My sisters in ATL are trying to think of an appreciation gift to send to our sister that has had to be the one to bear the whole burden of helping/dealing with the recent situation with our Mom (they both live in the Portland, OR area).  She has a good relationship with mom, but does not really get along with the rest of us and has pretty much cut us out of her life. She is our sister, however, and we would like to show her our appreciation. She's ridiculously practical, and thinks flowers are a waste of time. Straight up money she would find offensive. She tries to eat healthy and keeps her boys off refined sugar so that pretty much leaves us with a fruit arrangement/basket. Have any of you used Edible Arrangements? Are the delivered "bouquets" as pretty as they appear on the website? TIA!

  • they are very pretty, however ridiculously expensive.
  • Yes I have them sent and everyone loves them. I sent one to H last year for his Birthday.

  • I use them all the time for Teacher gifts.  Love them.  I had the chance to go into the store that was on Spring St.  They were really friendly and showed me how they make them.  The delivered bouquet is awesome, very pretty and impressive.
  • I've never had an edible arrangement but a couple of my coworkers did send me a cookies by design cookie bouquet once, it was awesome!  The cookies were huge and so so yummy!  Just another idea!

***Edit - I totally missed the part about keeping her boys off sugar the first time around. . . just ignore me!!!!!!!

ETA: I will be sending the following to DH for his Birthday in a couple of weeks!! What a sneaky way to embarrass your husband by announcing his Birthday to the people who work near him. His coworkers will comment on how sweet his wife is for thinking of him and sending him fruit, my husband will know better!! Big Smile

  • Awesome! Thanks for the feedback. There's 3 of us to split the cost, so it will be pretty affordable.

  • I received one at Northside after I had Harlie and liked it, but didn't really do it justice before a lot of it went bad.

We had a client with a child at CHOA and she loved it because she was able to have a snack without leaving his room
