I'm just sorta "meh" on my job. I used to hate it but then I grew to like some aspects
Best part - my coworkers are for the most part really great
Worst - two words. Data. Entry.
My boss - yeah. I like her. She's pretty hands off which I think is great.
Admin day? taking DH out for his birthday. It is a "holiday" so very not on my radar.
Do you like your job? Why or why not. most days, it's pretty okay.
What is the best part of your job? the people i work with (especially the other admins. they are SO funny!)
What is the worst part of your job? being asked to do personal things like pick up drycleaning or make dentist appointments.
Do you like your boss? most days. i'm sure he would say the same about me. : )
How are you going to celebrate Admin Day? dunno. my boss hasn't even mentioned it so i'm guessing it's going to be an end of the day scramble on his end of things.
i did get all the admins underneath me all Starbucks gift cards and hand delivered them and told them how i couldn't do my job without them. and i so so mean that. they save my asss on a daily basis. it takes a village around here!
HAPPY ADMIN DAY TO EVERYONE WHO BUSTS THEIR HUMP TO MAKE OTHERS LOOK GOOD DAY IN AND DAY OUT. Because, you know, we RARELY get the credit we deserve.
Both of our building secretaries are out of the building today, so I will have to tell them how awesome they are tomorrow!
As a former behind-the-scenes gal, I know how hard it is to keep everything together so everyone can do their jobs. Some days I feel like I need my own admin! Props to you ladies too...
Do you like your job? Why or why not. Yes and no. I hate running a business but I love the work.
What is the best part of your job? Knowing that I'm making a difference in people's lives. There is nothing like watching a client's face light up when they find out their green card, citizenship, whatever has been approved.
What is the worst part of your job? It's a tie between running a business and dealing with governmental bureaucracy.
Do you like your boss? I'm the boss so yes.
How are you going to celebrate Admin Day? No, I work by myself.
