Has anyone found any nursing tops that aren't boring, frumpy, etc.? I hate the ones at the Gap -- they all are "roomy for the post-baby belly", which actually just succeeds in making me look like I'm still pregnant. I'm also kind of bored by the Old Navy ones. I don't always wear nursing gear, but some days I just feel lazy and would rather pull aside my top than lift it, undo the tank, etc. -- and I'm tired of my shirts getting all stretched out from the lifting. When Ellie is nursing less frequently it will be easier, but for now I'm whipping out boobs so often that I want something built for it.
Re: nursing gear
So glad that you asked this! I've just started looking into nursing gear, and I've seen a lot of reviews on both Gap and ON that seem to share your sentiments. I saw a couple of tops on Motherhood Maternity that looked more interesting, but I"d love to hear from ladies who have found good pieces.
Suga, I effing love that you have a go-to sweater. I have a few maternity-esque pieces like that that I change into immediately upon getting home from work. Kyle has been threatening to burn them, but I LURVE them and don't care!
