PSA: Huge Garage Sale in GP
Hi Nesties and Knosties,
This coming Saturday starting at 8am and ending generally around 3pm is
the bi-yearly Westchester subdivision Garage Sale in Grand Prairie.
Generally, there are 200-400 homes selling things from furniture to
electronics to yard equipment and everything in between. It's amazing what you can
find by just walking around.
Westchester is south of I-20 on
Carrier Parkway. My mother is happy to have folks park at/around her
house (dead center of the area) and help everyone with maps and such.

I may need to do this, too. Man, I'm so bad at garage sale-ing though.
I'm a horrible haggler (sp). I am either willing to buy it for what it's priced at or I'm not. I don't like discussing it.
Me too. Plus I don't do well with chaos.... I fail to see the "gems" when digging through random tables of items.
I'm the same way... and actually, I don't want to be haggled with. When I price it, that's the price. Period.
My MIL did a garage sale together last year and I hated that part.
