Stole this from the MM board (which is quickly becoming one of my favorite Nest boards).
What's annoying you today that probably shouldn't?
Re: Irrational annoyances
The weather is actually pretty nice here today, and one of my neighbors is working on some wood project (at least thats what is sounds like) in their back yard.
This would be okay if I didn't want to have my windows open. But because I want my windows open all the noise they are making keeps setting off my dogs. So I am now annoyed with my dogs for barking so much and with my neighbor for working on whatever it is they are doing. Which has been since about 8:30 this morning.
The gross sucking sound that goes on when someone is sucking on a mint.
It makes me want to do this
MM is my home away from home board ... you might be surprised how many familiar faces you see there
I am (slightly) annoyed with DH for basically having to spoonfeed him the last piece of strawberry rhubarb pie (well, not literally).
I made it for Easter because I went to my best friend's house so I can see her (it was the only time we could make it work over the weekend when she visited). DH didn't come with me and asked that, if possible, I bring him a slice of pie back. I ended up coming back with three slices on Sunday afternoon, and between then and this morning, he ate none of them.
So of course, I end up eating two slices because I have no self control, and then finally pack the last piece for him as part of his lunch today so he would freaking eat it before it goes bad.
Of course, he's been working 16 hour days for the last couple of days and hasn't been home/eating at home.
Irrational? Definitely.
I'm annoyed with myself over something that happened in the past. I held my tongue and looking back I wish I would have said what I really wanted to, when I wanted to say it.
It's over something pretty dumb, so I'm not sure why I even think about it.
all this royal wedding coverage .. i'm a sucker for big splashly royal weddings but the lead up to this one is driving me NUTS !!!!
that said, i have it set up on my dvr so i can watch it saturday w/ dd on my lap. you're never too young to be mesmerized by a royal wedding.
DH just built a much-needed fence in our backyard (dog had started running off on "adventures"), and is changing the oil in his car today.
I am mentally screaming at him, "WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO SPEND MONEY?" Even though he's only spending on necessities.
I think I can handle a) being the sole breadwinner or b) being sick, but not both at the same time.
Children and parents. (This will probably end up being part of my CW later on)
Almost every kid I've come in contact with lately has annoyed the hell out of me. They've been noisy, smelly, wet, dirty, and too active. Sadly, this has even included my own Godkids who I seriously love dearly. I don't know what it is, but children are getting on my nerves lately.
And that brings me to the parents. Parents who don't watch or discipline their kid, or think it's cute when the kid does inappropriate or annoying things make me stabby. What is it that makes people lose their effin minds as soon as they spawn? Are they just too tired to care? Do they just tune it out? Hello, your kid spitting on me/ touching me with grubby hands/ yelling in my ear/ making the room smell like poop are so not adorable to me. Parents, please snap out of it!

Omg, so many. See my CW (and ditto Moosie's).
I'm annoyed that I have to shepherd dh around like he's kid in order for me to keep on my schedule and for him to get chores done.
The word "huh." Can we all agree not to use it? Or at least use it sparingly? It just sounds so freaking ignorant. I have this one co-worker who often says it so loud and clueless sounding - she just sounds like an idiot -- and she's a supervisor! At least sound more intelligent than your inferiors.
And can we talk about mustard? When I say "just a tiny bit of mustard," why do 75% of the time they slop on tons of it? I want to taste my food! I don't want to be part of the fat, gluttonous American way! Let me not be!
