Re: PIP wednesday
In a few weeks, we'll be in Fort Lauderdale enjoying the beach! I'm praying for great weather so we can just relax and have fun!! We're staying at the Hilton Beach Resort and it looks awesome!!! There's a cafe in the hotel that serves crepes! uh oh!!!!
Good One!
I am heading to Las Vegas in 9 days! I can't wait:
We also have a party every summer (we always find a reason), and this summer is my 25th Birthday Party! Here is a pic from last year at my dad's 50th (Jeremy and I in our Tommy Bahama Best):
The Canoe Races is a big thing every year in May where, though some people actually race canoes, everyone else just goes out to a big island on a boat for the day. This is last year w/ my friend Rachel (we go on her and her husband's boat)
And we're going to NYC in July! So excited! (This pic is of my favorite bar in my SIL's neighborhood with the best mojitos EVER!)
All of your planned trips look so fun! I'm so jealous!
So far the only thing we have planned is a trip to Minnesota to see if we can get Sam adopted

We're going to Las Vegas too! DH has a conference there in late June...so I am going to go out on the last day of the conference and we're going to stay for 4 days. I cannot wait!
We're probably staying at Treasure Islandsince that's where DH is staying for the conference and we can get good room prices since he's a part of the conference etc. woohoo!
Allison...you had posted info on LV a long time ago when I posted about going away for our Anniversary. Any info that you have would be welcomed again!
Kristi - Yes I love Vegas!!! Me and DH stayed at TI actually, you are going to love it. It was recently remodeled (we were there in 08) and the decor and the rooms were great. The pool was very nice, but gets crowded, so go out early. We used to leave our stuff on the chair, get breakfast, and then come back out. They are actually known for the "most comfy beds on the strip" and we agreed!!! Where do I begin...make sure you see a Cirque de Soleil show, go see the Bellagio dancing fountains (they go off 4 times an hour at night), walk around the Forum shops, eat crepes at the Paris hotel, have drinks and people watch at the outdoor bar next to Bellagio ( don't know what the name of it is, but you will find it), and enjoy all the great restaurants. I remember liking the one in TI actually, Kahunaville I think? We also liked the Tiger and Dolphin Habitat in the Mirage, which is next door and you can get there by tram. The free "pirate show"outside TI is really lame, but if you are there in time for a show, check it out.
Just spend your nights walking around and seeing the hotels, each one is more amazing than the next. That is entertainment enough! You will stumble on some really cool things.
Have fun to everyone going to Vegas!
Great idea for a PIP Wednesday! In a few weeks, I'm going to Albany for our 4-year college reunion with my besties from college. We are going to stay in a cabin in the Adirondacks on Memorial day weekend, it should be beautiful!
