Last night we had a lot of bad weather come through our area. In a county over a tornado touched down....a school was destroyed, atleast 5 people lost their lives and many lost their homes. The storm woke me up at 2:00 and all day the weatherman had been telling us to brace ourselves for one to hit last night. I got up at 2:00 and watched the news in case we had to seak shelter. Luckily we did not and all we got was some bad rain, wind, thunder and lightining. Please keep our community in your prayers as we are facing another bad storm to come through here either late this afternoon or tonight.
Oh and to make all these worse....I was in the middle of a tornado last Wednesday. I was coming home from work and it started hailing tennis ball size hail and I looked back and you could see the tornado ready to dip down. I got to a overpass and saught shelter. Luckily it was during the day and noone got hurt just alot of tree damage. Look at the video one of my friends posted.

OMG Carmen, so glad you were able to get safe! I would have been terrified.
I have been praying every night about the bad weather, it's been stretching from the south to where we are. I am sick of the storms right now! Will definitely send prayers to those families who were affected by the storms. Stay safe!
Wow...lots of scary storms around these days! Makes me glad I live here, where tornadoes are pretty much unheard of.

That is so scary! Glad you are ok. I know for me, tornadoes scare me more than any other weather type, luckily I have never been in one =/. I love a good thunderstorm, but when it gets bad here I try and stay calm so Chase doesn't become afraid as he gets older. But I always imagine a huge tornado coming across the pasture which would freak me out! I really don't have a safe place to go in this house. =/
