Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

update to cleaning/project obsessed MIL
So I talked to her on Friday when she was here in the AM and asked me "What projects do you have for me?"
I told her that I loved her, and loved having her here to watch DS, and loved that she wanted to help, but it was too much for me and made me uncomfortable that she felt she had to clean. I told her that I saw it as a statement on my cleaning/housekeeping skills and she said she didn't mean it like that at all. She said she was only doing it because that's what she wished someone would have done for her when she had kids. I said that I would love help in the garden or making dinner on Fridays, but I can do the laundry/cleaning/organizing. She thanked me for saying something, and I hope I didn't hurt her feelings too much. We'll see how this Friday goes!
