preemie clothes

My sister had her baby today...4lbs and 14oz. Any suggestions on websites for preemie clothes? The selection sucks on BRU and Carters.

Re: preemie clothes

  • Walmart actually has some preemie clothes.  I remember getting a few items for C when she was born..only 4lbs 13 oz.  I actually just went the other day for my friends daughter who was only 2 lbs 12 oz.  They don't have much but at least it is something.

I also find the brand Little Me at TJMax and Marshalls...they are a hit or miss though.

  • A quick search of Target's website shows some cute stuff in preemie size.

  • I had gotten some preemie outfits at Target, Carters and BRU.  I did most of my shopping in stores and not online.

  • When my kids were born they were both in preemie clothes (even at 6 lbs) and I was really impressed with what BRU and Carters had in store!  No suggestions other than that.  What a teeny peanut!  :)
  • When DD was born (4.14 lbs) she was given some cute things from Nordstroms. There wasn't much around when she was born, now I see so much more, but can't think exactly where i was besides where already mentioned.   I actually kept a lot of those nicer ones for her bitty baby...preemie size fits those dolls perfect and I love seeing the clothes out and around the house still.  GL
  • My sister is a NICU nurse and has mentioned that some of the parents have bought outfits at Build-a-bear that fit perfectly.
