Anastasia Brow Studio anyone?

I heard good things about the person that does it at Tyson's, and Yelp doesn't love the Pentagon City lady.  Anyone been to either?  Are appts necessary, or can you walk in?  Is it worth $30?  I'm interested in trying it because they use more objective methods for determining brow size, rather than the subjective "eye balling it" method most places use.

Re: Anastasia Brow Studio anyone?

  • My mom uses one of these in St. Louis and really likes her.  They have a pretty decent training program, and I have used and liked the Anastasia product line at Sephora, so I'd at least give it a try.

  • I loved, loved loved my Anastasia Brow lady in San Diego so when I moved here I was excited to see they had a studio here too. Unfortunately, I had bad experiences with two of the ladies at Pentagon City and won't be back. Specifically, both ladies waxed them too thin, after telling them I liked a fuller, thick brow. If this sounds familiar, I was the one-star Yelper. :-( Long story short, like any brow place, I think it depends on the person. If you heard great things about the Tysons lady, go for it!
  • Oh, and I'd recommend making an appointment. :-)
