Happy Hour Suggestions-Mt. Vernon area
Hi Ladies! I'm trying to come up with a good place to go for Happy Hour on Friday that's along Charles Street as 2 of the people I'm going with have to get to Penn Station relatively easy after we're finished. I would go to the gay bars, but 1 of the other guys that's coming won't so the Hippo and Grand Central are out.
Mick O'Shea's and Brewer's Art come to mind...what else am I forgetting?

How fancy do you want?
Aloha Sushi is a few doors down from Brewer's Art, definitely less fancy but I think it's fun. There's a bar a few doors up from XS....Um Terps Bar? Maybe? It's a sports bar with really good HH specials IIRC.
Joss Sushi is right in the heart of Mount Vernon but not sure if they have HH.
city cafe is in that general area but unsure if they have HH.
XS is nice. The one time I went there for HH though we weren't given HH prices so pay attention when you're given the bill.
I'm not a fan of Turp's but I've also only been there for lunch. The service is incredibly slow and if you sit inside it always smells of bleach (random, I know).
City Cafe does have a HH though I've never been.
I go to Brewer's a lot. Love that place.
Owl Bar, City Cafe, Brewers Art....and waaaaay down Charles St the opposite direction - Cross Street Market. I know it's totally out of the way, but I feel like it should be mentioned since the HH is fantastic.
That's where I initially suggested but my friends don't want to risk missing their train. I love CSM and their big beers!
