2 new family members

Carrie's news reminded me.....I found out I'll be getting two new family members on easter Sunday!

My brother proposed to his long time girlfriend. They've been dating since she was 13! And she said yes! :)

And then later that night, my SIL (my brother's wife) called to tell me she's expecting #2! This is the coast guard bro that just moved to flippin' Alaska! Baby #1 just turned 1 year old, so he and the 2nd beeb will be around 20 mos apart, I think. They were trying for it.

I'm happy, but I'm sad that it will be another niece/nephew that I won't get to see. Plus, it's driving me a little crazy that we have to wait to try and they're so much younger and are already on baby #2.

It's all very exciting and I'm very happy. Just those selfish thoughts creeping in that I'm trying to ignore!

I'm so happy that dh and I have so many siblings. Our family just grows and grows every year!

Re: 2 new family members

  • What fun news!!!  I know it's hard having family living far away that you don't get to see often.  It's okay to feel a little selfish every once in awhile, too.  :)

  • Yay about gaining new family members. I am sure it is hard knowing that you won't get to see those little babies grow up but think how much you can spoil them from far away.

Like Carrie said it is okay to feel a little selfish every once in awhile.
