Anyone have any extra they could spare. I got a phone call from an intern I worked with last year and she asked me if I had heard the news.
One of my athletes lost his life tonight due to a heart attack. He was just 23 years old, and eligible to enter the NFL draft starting tomorrow.
My heart breaks for his family, for his team.

Oh my gosh, how awful.
We had something similar happen around here recently, but it was a high school basketball player. He collapsed from cardiac arrest just minutes after shooting the winning basket in a playoff game. Anytime someone so young dies, it's terribly tragic.
His family and the community will be in my thoughts and prayers.
that's so sad.
one of my friends from college just lost a player to a brain bleed (long story). its so heartbreaking when these kids die suddenly and really puts chance in perspective.
oh my goodness, I'm so sorry.
