    What a long night. The tornado sirens went off at least twice in our area. We grabbed the kitties and went to the "extra" bedroom in the basement. Fortunately, the warnings were more for northern Cherokee than where we are in southern Cherokee. I stayed up late glued to the tv to be on the safe side. We got a lot of crazy wind, but that's about it.

    MorningSleep I was lucky enough to be awakened by my weather radio not once, not twice but three times...Nothing like wrangling 2 dogs, 2 chinchilla and 1 DH to the "safest" part of our house. I miss having a basement.

    I'm so glad it wasn't bad but I had a hard time sleeping. I kept AJ in bed with us because I was worried it would get bad quickly and we would want to get to the basement as quickly as possible. DH put him back in the crib around 1am though...that kid sure does wiggle a lot.

    good morning ladies! it was super windy here ALLLLLL day, and apparently it rained, but that was it for my area. apparently an elementary school in pine mountain/harris county got the roof ripped off though
