I just wanted to let you know that we were talking about the state this morning in our office (My boss LOVES talking about how much of a ninny PL is) and he was talking about your office and how its the MOST USEFUL office the state has and he is totally annoyed with the fact that he (PL) wants to do away with it...Keep up the good work and fight the good fight!

This made my day!! Thank you. It amazes me that amid all of this SPO employees continue to remain focused on their work and continue to better the state of Maine. We make sure towns recycle, we make sure beaches and the waters are clean and healthy, and work to conserve lands, we make sure people have flood insurance, and we make sure that code officers and plumbing inspectors are educated to make towns safe and clean. Go us!

What you do is VERY important and he is a total nincompoop for not realizing it...
Hang in there and I hope things get better and not worse but I have a feeling better isn't going to happen till someone else is in office!
It's a shame when valuable and dedicated people are underappreciated. A thank you to everyone in your office. Love, someone who only visits Maine but sitll appreciates the way SPO work affects my visits.
