QOTD

If you could teach someone how to do anything, what would it be?

Re: QOTD

  • I would teach my husband how to drive a stick. Seriously, how ridiculous is it that I've had my car for 7 years, we've been together for almost 5 years, and he's NEVER driven my car!? He just has no desire to learn, which irritates the sh!t out of me....especially with a baby on the way.

  • I would teach my sister how to bake and decorate cakes and cupcakes. I have been making everything for my niece since she was born, which I don't mind at all. I know my sister would like to make cupcakes for Avery's birthdays for school and it will save me from driving 1.5 hours to deliver them to her this year.

I was going to post the same thing!  Well not about my DH, but that everyone should know how to drive a manual transmission.

I miss my little stick shift, hopefully in a few years DH and I get the wrangler he's always wanted and that will definitely be a manual.

  • Common sense. Sadly it is unteachable Crying

I agree.  Everyone should know how to drive a stick.  You never know when you may need to do it.  I love mine and will never buy another automatic again if I can help it.  DH prefers automatics which is good because he sucks are driving shift because he doesn't do it often.

  • I would teach my husband to be more independent. He is always relying on me to keep him productive on things he needs to be doing and refers to me if people ask him if he can do something. I feel more like his mother than his wife sometimes.

Sadly I am one of those people who can not drive a manual. I have tried many times and I freak out every time. I understand the concept of it, but I feel like everyone else on the road will think I'm going too slow and messing up traffic.

I'm with you.... I can't drive one.  I wanted to learn when I was younger but never got around to it.. Now I just can't grasp it well enough.  DH has tried to teach me and would love it if I would learn, but it is just so foreign to me....

  • i wish i could teach myself how to relax.  i used to be so 'go with the flow' and although i am MUCH more relaxed than james, my anxiety really upsets me.  the positive to james being worse than me is that i try extra hard to make him realize that everything is all good.  if only i could tell my own self that.
