The bugs!! ![]()
I feel like everywhere I turn there is something ready to attack me. Okay, so I've only had to take care of three, but that's enough to give me the heebie-jeebies. I HATE bugs. A big-ass spider seriously almost just crawled on my back. I freaked out and started yelling, effectively scaring the crap out of Emma and the dog.
I have my vacuum cleaner on standby since that is my method of removal. DH said he'd spray the windows/doors tomorrow and I can't wait. It seemed to work really well last year so let's hope it does the trick this year too.
**I was going to be stupid and attach a picture of a scary looking spider to creep everyone out, but even looking at the Google page of images freaked me out so much I can't even commit to one. This is all**

I know what you mean!!
When we first moved into our house friggin' earwigs were everywhere. So gross thankfully now I mostly deal with spiders and sometimes I leave those alone to get rid of the other ones.
I do hate when I see spiders on my car, they need to stay the he!! out of my side mirrors.
I hate spiders too! Last summer I made Dave come outside because I knew he wouldn't belive me if I told him. I for the life of me can't figure out what kind of spider this is.

Usually I don't have to worry too much about centipedes, spiders (on the floor) or other bugs too much in the house because my cat seems to find them and kill them. We call him our little hunter.

I was just going to say that as bad as spiders are, they're nothing compared to the centipede's. My fear of insects is proportional to the number of legs.
I reallllly hate centipedes but this totally made me LOL My dogs would either play with it, or eat it.
Has anyone tried those things you plug into your walls that are supposed to help keep them away? http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-EX720-D6-Ultrasonic-Nightlight/dp/B0007CXT72
Our landlords left one in our house when we moved in and I really haven't noticed bugs in the living area we have it in. I am thinking about maybe trying one in our basement next and upstairs. The spiders are back! Luckily, my kitties like to eat them!
Hmm... I've never heard of those. I'd be curious to try one myself. We've used the Ortho spray on the windows/doors and it seemed to work really well after we used it. I believe it's supposed to last 3 months, so we may have to do it once again this summer but it's worth it!
my SIL in Pittsburgh has had stink bugs & other insects for months now, it's just crazy there...
and the worms, I hate them!
SICK. I know it's even worse in the south. Even just as close as Indianapolis I know they have all sorts of nasty things I've never seen here. SCARY!
