are y'all ok from last nights storms? I'm just hearing of them. Hope all is well.

My town is so lucky right now every town surrounding us had damage except us. One town close to us is 80% destroyed and another was hit 2 times in the same day with tornados. I feel very helpless right now we are gathering as much water and supplies we can to send to places that need our help.
Yesterday our power went out...the main source of power went off the grid and atleast 80,000 people were without power last night. Sometime early this morning our power came back on. I told my family last night we are so blessed that we have a roof over our heads, food, our family is still together and if the worse thing was no power I could deal with that.
I have many friends is Tuscaloosca that I have not been able to reach so that has me worried.
Yeah I saw on Lauren's fb he mom posted that they were ok just did not have electricity. They are saying around here it could be up to 5-6 days before everyone gets electricity back.
I just heard from 2 of our friends there were actually trapped in their work's basement. She said a huge peice of furniture landed on top of the door and they could not get out and of course did not have cell service. She said he husband and some of her coworkers husbands found them about mid morning. She said they were in a cement blocked room and when they got out of it the office was completely gone. She said they are trying to track down our other friends and head our way if they can get some gas to make it here. We are about a hour away so TT told her we would meet them anywhere to bring them some.
Wow, that is so amazing! I couldnt imagine seeing something like that, to know you survived that...just wow!
