Royal Wedding...
Who's watching? Are you doing anything fun? What are you most looking forward to?
I know this has been talked about a bit before, but now that the day is upon us, I want to know if I will be the only crazy that is up at 4am to watch. 
My mom is sleeping over tonight and we are getting up early for English Breakfast tea and cinnamon crumpets, and will be wearing our fancy hats to watch the wedding. I am embarassingly excited.

I had been planning to watch with a friend at her house, however, since I have doubts as to my ability to get up at that hour (especially considering that I wanted to get into work early today but could not get my arse out of bed!), I've decided to just stay home and watch it by my lonesome . . . if I manage to get up at all!
I might see if my sister is going to watch and call her (in Milwaukee) so we can "watch" it together - - otherwise I might try to Skype with DH and MIL in England - but I don't think DH really cares. MIL might be interested. But most likely, I'll be curled up with my cat, clutching my coffee, trying to stay awake and not feel embarassed by how silly I'm being.
This is going to sound dumb...but what time is the actual wedding on? I'm curious about the dress and that's about it...
I know coverage starts at like 4am but what time curious what time the actual wedding takes place.
I am not getting up, but do plan to watch it at 10 on pbs. I'm actually growing more and more disinterested due to the overwhelming amount of coverage prior to the actual wedding. Every news channel has about 5 correspondents there and it's getting old.
I mainly want to see her dress and the hats. So I'm fine with watching some of it when they replay it instead of getting up so early in the morning. Morning and I do not mix.

The wedding should start at 5 am (6 hour time difference) - but the arrivals and such begin at 4:30, I think.

I will NOT be getting up early but I'm sure I will be tuning in throughout the day online to see stuff. I mostly just want to see the dress.
For me, it's not important to see it as it happens...I'm sure they will be replaying stuff for WEEKS so I really won't miss anything.
i won't be watching and really don't care. all i want is to see her dress which i know will be on the cover of EVERY magazine come sunday.

She is 29, he is 28.
I heard an interview on the radio yesterday with a guy who is writing a book about the wedding. They are staying up all night to get it done and it will be for sale on SUNDAY. They must have it all mocked up with places to insert pictures and captions... I think it will be mostly photos from the Associated Press. Crazy.
I also heard this morning on a radio interview that William's air force buddies make him drink his tea out of a cup with his and Kate's faces on it. Cheeky! :-)
well, they didn't rush into anything and are both adorable. i'm sure it will be a lovely day. (though i heard it's supposed to rain all day???)
I think they are the one of the first royal couples who has had a "normal" relationship. (As normal as it can be in that life.)
Princess Di and Charles went on only a handful of dates before they got married and it's rumored he made her call he SIR during their courtship.
If Ted wanted to be call Sir I would call him Sir ThereIsTheDoorBuhBye!
And man....I almost passed out before getting married in front of 150 people...I can't imagine 150 million people watching! EEEEEEEP.
I checked the weather - it is actually supposed to be nice tomorrow. Cloudy in the morning, then the sun comes out for the afternoon. Mid-to-high 60s. British weather is so fickle though - - I've seen the sun shine like crazy, then a dark cloud causes a 10 minute downpour, then the sun is back. It just changes so quickly and is impossible to predict more than a day or two in advance.
They are super cute together - obviously in love and very level headed. I really hope they can make it work. They've had 8 (or 9?) years to practice!
I'm not a morning person. But that being said, my alarm goes off at 5:30, so I will most likely turn it on while getting ready for work.
I'm just interested in seeing a few details, the dress mostly...lol
I might. I think the wedding starts at 5 am CST? If so, that's not a whole lot earlier than when I normally wake up.
We'll see. I just really want to see Kate's dress.

I kinda hope DH picks one up for me. When he plays for a wedding, he usually brings a copy of the program back for me. I usually don't care, but he thinks I like them - - - but this one I would secretly love to have!
DH's best friend is a photographer for various newpapers and is going to be in London tracking the street parties. I guess to get a media pass to the official events, the licensing fee was 900 GBP - so his friend decided to skip that and just go to the free street parties to capture how people are celebrating. Should be a blast!
