My Dad's surgery went well and he came home yesterday!  I feel a huge sense of relief!

That's wonderful news!! I was wondering how he was doing.  Will he still have to undergo some other form of treatment?

Re: **erinrach**

  • Well, they removed his prostate completely and did additional labs during his surgery and it appears it was all contained.  He'll have to get bloodwork done frequently to be sure, but the doc seemed pretty certain it's all gone!  Thanks for asking.

  • That's great news that the Dr. thinks it was all contained.  Sounds like they caught it early enough, which is wonderful.  It's good that they're still going to monitor things though, just for peace of mind.  So thankful that everything seems to be turning out alright.

  • Thats so great that they think they got it all.  Hopefully this will be the end of it for him.  I can't imagine what a relief it must be for your family.
