noelle has meetings today from 11:15 to 5...so much for getting anything done today.

Melissa is looking forward to her weigh-in tonight. She feels she's finally back on track and she hopes the scales show it.
Melissa is also looking forward to her father's family reunion on Sunday. Her father is one of 12 and many of them get together with all their children/grandchildren (and great-grandchildren!) once/yr for their own reunion. It's a lot of people and M used to dread going because there are few in her age group and she has little in common with them, but she really wants to go this year. She can't wait to show off her new figure! Granted, it's a work in progress, but for people she hasn't seen in a year, it'll be a shocker!
She also can't wait to spend time with a friend on Saturday. It's probably been 6 mos. since she's seen her!

Allison is scared to death she is going to puke on the plane tomorrow. Please lord, let Allison make it through the flight tomorrow and sunday without embarassing herself.

Holly wants to know if Allison has tried papaya enzymes? Holly had a friend that practically lived on them while pregnant, as they were the only thing that kept her nine months of morning sickness at bay.
oooh, fun!! hayley has thought about lasik....but the idea of it scares the crap out of her. and she's got a wicked astigmatism in both eyes...so she's not sure if it would even work for her.

Holly is also excited for PnR's Lasik!
Holly has been to see a couple Lasik DR's, and even with her 2nd degree astigmatisms (meaning she has 2 astigmatisms in each eye), she qualifies for lasik, so she thinks Hayley would too.
Holly's IL's in Colombia would pay for her to get Lasik if she got it done there (it's $1k there vs. $4k here). She is actually considering it too the next time they go down there. She's already met with the Dr and checked him out, and would feel comfortable with him doing it.
Amanda is FINALLY getting her haircut... pregnancy has sucked the life out of my hair. Time to chop some off!
Amanda is also excited for her Anniversary on Sunday, I think I am getting a new IPhone.
interesting....perhaps hayley will have to look into it once the house renovations and such are paid for! she'll also make DH figure out what their insurance covers

Faith throws spam at Amanda on TPT.
Faith is so jealous of P&R's lasik...she asked about it once but her eyes are so bad it wasn't approved for that degree yet. She would have had to get it done twice. She is going to inquire again because perhaps the procedures have improved.
P&R also has astigmatism in both eyes, plus a very high degree of vision loss, but was approved without issues. P&R thinks the real factors are the shape of your corneas, how thick they are, if the pressure in your eyes is normal, etc.
P&R would totes do it in Columbia for $1k! P&R's surgery is costing about $2800, but that also includes a lifetime insurance plan that will do any touch ups as needed.

LOL, I know! However, it's especially important for women. The hormonal changes from pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding can change your vision, so you would have a higher chance of needing a revision at some point. Yes, I know I used first person in TPT. Sue me.

Lauren LOVES Hayley for this.....
Lauren called her H in a frantic tizzy this morning because she had a lizard running around her house. It was super-freaky. Lauren is kinda okay with squishing bugs when her H is not available, but you can't squish a lizard.... DH gallantly tossed the lizard out the window. Phew.
hayley uses the "diamond shoes are too tight" bit A LOT. she finds it's always funny
and hayley is glad lauren's DH got the lizard out of the house!!! hayley has a family of these freaky lizards that look like they have snake skin living in her front yard bushes...one of them is GIGANTIC. and they are super freaky and fast.

Allison has never heard of these before and would love to try them but Allison cannot currently swallow pills. Allison has had to resort to gummy vitamins because her gag reflex kicks in as soon as she even puts a pill in her mouth.
Holly is not trying to shove these down Allisons throat (literally or figuratively
), but generally papaya enzymes are either chewable (and taste like papaya!) or dissolve in a persons mouth.
Well in that case Allison needs to find some of these asap! Does anyone else besides GNC carry them? Allison and her H are headed to Target tonight. . any chance she might get lucky and find it there??
Target might carry them, as they are getting to be quite common. Also, there is a Good Nutrition health food store on Johnson Ferry just south of RR. They definitely carry them.
